DAVID JACKMAN

David Jackman, MD received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in 2000. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and his fellowship in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare. He currently works in the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology and serves as Dana-Farber’s Medical Director for Clinical Pathways. His research interests include targeted therapies in lung cancer and mesothelioma, and cancer care delivery.
More recently, he shifted his focus towards the realm of Quality and Patient Safety, primarily as the Medical Director for Clinical Pathways at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In this role, he has helped oversee the design, creation, implementation, and commercialization of a novel, web-based clinical pathways platform. In addition, he directly oversees the content development process, managed by a team of 12 direct-reporting, disease-based medical directors and comprising input from experts at all participating.
